Ireland under-21 games to be broadcast on FreeSports

The Republic of Ireland under-21s' games in the upcoming Toulon Tournament will be broadcast on FreeSports between June 3rd to 9th.

Stephen Kenny has named seven League of Ireland representatives in his squad for the Toulon Tournament with players from Bohemians, UCD, Waterford and St Patrick’s Athletic featuring.

The UCD trio of Conor Kearns, Liam Scales and Neil Farrugia have all been called up as have Zach Elbouzedi and Aaron Drinan of Waterford. 

Jamie Lennon of St Pat’s and Darragh Leahy of Bohemians have also both made the cut for Kenny’s young side.

The Boys in Green will make their appearance in Toulon for the first time since 2002 as manager Kenny looks to continue preparations for the upcoming under-21 Euro Qualifiers.

The former Dundalk and Longford Town boss will see his side open their campaign against China on June 3rd before facing Mexico on June 6th.

Ireland will then look to finish off their group campaign with a positive result on June 9 when they face Bahrain.
