The draw for the group stages of the 2009 Setanta Sports Cup was made today at the FAI's Headquarters in Abbotstown. The draw in full is:

Group 1: Cliftonville, Cork City, Sligo Rovers

Group 2: Linfield, Derry City, St Patrick's Athletic

Group 3: Coleraine, Bohemians, Glentoran
