DERRY CITY join St. Pat's in the Third Round of the Europa Cup qualifiers. Congratulations to both sides. Such a shame Bohemians just missed out last night. The first leg games will be played next Thursday!! 20:50.... The painful wait is due to four added minutes being played...One last Skonto attack as the Latvians try to force extra time....corner.....comes to nothing...They think it's all over....IT IS NOW!!!....for Skonto anyway.....Derry march onto the next round. It's Bulgaria next week for Stephen Kenny and company

20:48.... Normal time is over. We are playing whatever the Dutch ref decides now...

20:45.... Three minutes remaining....

20:42.... Five minutes remaining....

20:38.... Under ten minutes to go, the Candystripes can smell the next round, as Higgins does well to win a corner, which is cleared.

20:38.... Laizans' free kick is met by the head of the other sub Mingazov, but he is well over of the Derry goal. Passed the 80 minute mark

20:36.... Just over ten minutes remaining.... remember to check in with us later, for all the previews to tomorrow's game, and interviews and reports from Derry.

20:33.... 74 minutes gone and Derry sub: Mark Farren for Stewart

20:30.... Derry if they were to progress would meet Sofia in the next round. There are four rounds in the Europa League, before you can get to Group stages.

20:27.... Skonto sub: Olegs Laizans for Igos Tarasovs

20:25.... Nearly 70 minutes gone in the game now and Derry lead 1-0 on the night and 2-1 on agg.

20:23.... Deery's corner is met by Higgins, whose volley is deflected wide. Deery's next corner is floated onto the head of the towering figure of Clive Delaney, who heads over. Skonto sub, Ruslan Mingazov for Fetov

20:14....GOAL DERRY - KEVIN DEERY - 56 minutes Brandywell Stadium erupts as KEVIN DEERY gives Derry the lead. The midfielder makes ground after Derry break down an attack. The local lad, with McCallion out right and Stewart looking for a ball in behind, is afforded time and space with the defense standing off and he finds the far corner.

20:11.... Derry penalty appeal waved away after McGlynn's deflected effort comes off Golubeus and out for a corner. Strong protests from the midfielder that it clipped the defender's hand on the way fall upon deaf ears. 54 minutes gone.

20:06.... Sammy Morrow goes down in the middle of the park and is carted off on a stretcher. Ruaidhri Higgins comes in.

20:02.... The action resumes..

20:00.... Game is about to restart...

19:45.... Yellow card for Golubeus for a foul on Stewart. Half time in Derry, 0-0 at present. The second half coverage will restart in 10 minutes.

19:41.... 42 minutes gone now in Derry.

19:39.... Cavna's inviting free-kick evades a cluster of bodies in the box and goes wide of the far post when it was crying out for a touch to divert it goalward

Declan, a LOI fan in Brazil emailed in: Well done to St. Pats, going to be tough in the next round against the Russians. Hopefully Derry can get through now. Cheers for the updates lads.

19:32.... A scare at the other end. Fetov finds himself racing into the box, only for the wily Peter Hutton to come in with a great challenge and Doherty picks up the pieces

19:31.... McManus forces Malins into a good save, the Skonto 'keeper tipping over the striker's 20-yard effort after a poor clearance by Smirnovs, who gets a fair ribbing from the custodian. The Brandywell crowd is whipped into a frenzy from the resulting corner. McManus - at the back post - sees a shot cannon off the crossbar and Stewart heads over the bar, somehow, with the rebound.

MLF, a Shelbourne fan, emailed in, I have to say fair play to St Pat. Now come on Derry - I have to agree MLF, after last night Pat's is a great boost but a Derry win would be superb.

19:26.... McGlynn cuts out a Skonto attack, finds Morrow on half-way, but his pass to McManus has too much weight and Malins comes from his line to clear

19:24.... Doherty to the rescue again, as he saved from Blanks, who is played in by a deft touch from Junior on the edge of the box. Doherty does well to keep out Blanks' effort from eight yards. Derry breath again.

19:18.... Smirnovs is booked for a cynical foul on Derry and McManus curls the resulting free just past the post

19:14.... Gerard Doherty does well to thwart Cavna, getting down to his right-hand post to save from the front-man, after Kozlovs and Fetov work the chance from a free awarded for a foul by McCallion on Cavna

19:12.... Email me if you have any comments on the Pats win, Bohs loss, or Derry's current performance, or even just to say hi. The email is extratimelive@gmail.com

19:11.... Stewart eventually gets the shot away after McGlynn's cross causes confusion in the Skonta rearguard, but his effort is blocked by Smirnovs after Malins and his centre-back get their wires badly crossed

19:08.... Raiuis Hscanovics heads away as Gareth McGlynn ghosts in dangerously at the back post

19:07.... Thomas Stewart's low cross from the left is too close to 'keeper Germans Malins

19:06.... Tam McManus bursts into the Skonta box and goes down under the challenge of Vitalijs Smirnovs. Pol Van Boekel does little to endear himself to the Maidan City. Strong penalty appeal turned down

19:03.... Aleksandrs Cavna gets a shot away from the edge of the box following a corner, Derry survive

19:02.... Gareth McGlynn volleys off target from McManus' pass

19:00.... Game on!!

18:58.... We have the subs in now as well. We are moments away from Europa League action with Derry City and Skonto Riga.

18:50.... Chris McNulty is our man at the game: "Derry show three changes from leg one with Eddie McCallion, Sammy Morrow and Kevin Deery elevated to the starting XI. Skonta appear to have solved their 'visa' controversy as Brazilian Junior - who scored in leg one - is named in their line-up"

18:48.... 12 minutes from kick off now. Can we make it 2 out of 2 tonight to make up for the heartbreak of last night? Whatever about progression, it would do no harm for the aul co-efficient either.

18:40.... The Derry and Skonto lineups are in below. Referee for tonight's match is Pol Van Boekel of The Netherlands

It's FULL TIME. St. Pat's advance to the next round of the Europa League. Congratulations to the Saints!!!

18:18.... The 90 minutes are up now and we are into added time. Can Pat's hold on and do similiar to Valletta what Salzburg did to Bohs last night

18:14.... 45 minutes away from the Derry City game and just to tell you, Pat's have gone a goal up on the 80th minute through Fabio O'Brien. 3 minutes to play there.

16:23.... Kick off fast approaching now and the Valletta team news is also in. They will line up as follows... Hogg, Grioli, Agius, Briffa, Bezzina, Scicluna, Pace, Falzon, Den Ouden, Dimech, Cruyff

And on the bench... Vella, Agius, Zammit, Grima, Borg, Giglio

16:18.... A little less than 15 minutes to go until kick off in the St Pat's game and the team news is in. The Dublin side will line out as follows... Rogers, Maher, Partridge, Harris, S. Byrne, Ryan, O'Connor, Gavin, Guy, Stevens, O'Brien

And on the bench... Clarke, Ryan, Lynch, Cawley, Fitzpatrick, Haran, Haverty
