Cliftonville sign defenders Damien McNulty and Conor McMenamin

Cliftonville have announced two further signings ahead of the 2018/19 season with Conor McMenamin and Damien McNulty signing terms at Solitude.

22-year-old utility player McMenamin joins former manager Barry Gray from Warrenpoint Town.

The Downpatrick native has previously played for Glentoran and Linfield before signing for Warrenpoint.

McMenamin started as a striker for the Milltown club but has since moved into defence, playing as a left-back.

Ahead of the Europa League qualifying campaign, which begins on July 12th, Gray has also brought in Derry defender Damien McNulty.

McNulty, who has played for Finn Harps, Limavady United and Irish Cup champions Coleraine, will add quality to the defence.

He last played in the Danske Bank Premiership at the back end of the 2017/18 campaign after signing for the relegated Carrick Rangers.

Cliftonville also announced that winger Ross Lavery had also put pen to paper on a new deal at Solitude.

Lavery, who is usually used as a substitute, will be hoping to break into the first team this season.

The club also confirmed that goalkeeper Jason Mooney, Gary Donnelly and Daniel Reynolds will not be offered new contracts and have departed the club.
