Watch:UCD's Georgie Kelly gets on his bike with stunning strike

The former Environment Minister and current Green Party TD Eamon Ryan made his living selling bicycles in UCD during the 1980s and 90s.

While he and the Greens couldn't sell their vision to the nation during their brief stint in government, it appears his legacy lasts in inspiring a generation of students at UCD to try out bicycles.

A few weeks ago, we saw UCD under-19 keeper and senior squad member Conor Kearns score an outrageous injury-time bicycle kick to salvage a draw against Cork City in the under-19 national league.

So outrageous was it, in fact, that Sky One's Soccer AM got him on the show the following weekend to recreate the feat – and he duly did.

Not to be outdone, UCD striker Georgie Kelly has got 'ar an rothar' as he scored the first of his side's goals in a 2-0 win over Wexford at the weekend with this stylish finish.

It was his sixth goal of the season, which edged him to the top of the First Division goalscorers' charts ahead of Waterford's Mark O'Sullivan, Longford Town's Enda Curran and Cabinteely's Marty Waters.
