Lilywhites may clinch title live on TV

Dundalk will have the opportunity to seal the title in front of the TV cameras as RTÉ are set to broadcast the Lilywhites' tie with Bohemians on Sunday, October 23.

Stephen Kenny's side were emphatic 3-0 winners over Longford Town on Monday night which, allied with second-placed Cork City losing to St Patrick's Athletic, leaves them seven points clear with three games each remaining.

The Rebel Army host the Saints once again on Friday, and anything other than a win for John Caulfield's side will confirm the Lilywhite as champions for a third straight year without kicking a ball.

The game will be broadcast live on RTÉ 2 with a kick-off time of 7pm.
