Harps announce squad of 29

Finn Harps have announced a squad list that totals twenty-nine in preparation for the 2013 First Division campaign. In a season where Harps are tipped to challenge for the league title, the Ballybofey outfit will also submit a team into the Ulster Senior League for the forthcoming league season.

Speaking to finnharps.com Peter Hutton announced his delight at the preparations so far. “I have been very happy with the players we have added in the close season. I have emphasised to every player who has signed that they wouldn’t be part of the squad unless I felt they had the potential to make a contribution to the first team. There is going to be intense competition for places in the team every week and that can only be a good thing for us. There is two or three who are not up to speed with the rest of the squad yet, but with a long season ahead, there is the opportunity for everyone to catch up and prove that they can do a job for us."
