Stuart Taylor's Limerick have added three more recruits to their squad for the 2013 season. Shane Tracy and Jeffrey Judge both agreed terms for another year at the club having impressed the former-Hamilton coach in the pre-season, while ex-Newcastle United defender Stephen Folan has also joined the Shannonsiders.

Stephen Folan is a Galway native and had spells at Mervue United and Salthill Devon before crossing the Irish Sea to join up with Newcastle United at the age of sixteen. Stephen made a number of appearances for the reserves before injury hampered his playing time. Folan was released in the summer of 2012.

Tracy, who won Supporters' Player of the Year for 2012 played a crucial role in securing promotion for the Blues. Originally a left winger, Pat Scully drafted Tracy in a left-back last season and his performances were equally as consistent. Scoring ten goals, Shane finished joint top goalscorer for the club alongside Rory Gaffney in the First Division.

Limerick have also secured the services of Jeffrey Judge for their Premier Division campaign. Judge, whose versatility is an asset to any club, is a Limerick native and ensures a sense of local pride runs through the spine of the squad.
