North signs for Sligo

Sligo Rovers have announced the signing of Danny North for the 2012 season. North spent last season at St Patrick’s Athletic where the former Grimsby striker scored a total of 18 league and cup goals.
He is the first new face to arrive at the Showgrounds for the coming year, although the club have recently announced that Alan Keane and Gavin Peers have committed themselves to another year at the club. Mark McGoldrick and Daryl Horgan will also be playing in Sligo colours next season as Paul Cook’s squad for 2012 starts to take shape.
