Evan Farrell departs Wexford

Wexford have confirmed the departure of long-serving attacker Evan Farrell. 

Farrell, 21, has opted to play in the junior ranks with North End United after struggling with injury last season at Ferrycarrig Park.

He follows Danny Furlong in the departures lounge at the South-East club in recent days.

Lining out for the club through all ages, Farrell earned himself 31 appearances with the senior side.

And he will be looking to continue playing with North End this season as he combines football with his studies at IT Carlow.
