Swindon Town have confirmed the loan signing of Dawson Devoy from MK Dons for the remainder of the 23/24 season, pending approval from the EFL.

The 22-year-old midfielder began his career with League of Ireland Premier side Bohemians in 2019 and quickly made a name for himself.

During his three seasons at Bohemians, Devoy was a regular feature in both domestic league matches and European competitions, including the UEFA Europa Conference League.

His impressive performances did not go unnoticed, as he was named the PFAI Young Player of the Year and included in the PFAI Team of the Year in 2021.

Devoy's success at Bohemians also paved the way for international recognition. He earned seven caps for the Republic of Ireland Under-21s.

His achievements in Ireland led to a move to MK Dons, where he has made over 30 appearances in England's third tier.

This season, Devoy has appeared 14 times for MK Dons, contributing a goal and three assists.
