Chloe McCarthy returns to DLR Waves

Chloe McCarthy has rejoined her former club, DLR Waves, where she previously captained the club's under-19 side to the 2022 underage title.

McCarthy left the southside Dublin club at the end of 2022 and spent the first six months of last season at Shamrock Rovers.

The defender moved on from the Hoops during the summer break to sign for Alban Hysa at Treaty United, where she played all of the Limerick club’s remaining matches, making a total of eight league and cup appearances.

Speaking to her club on signing she said: “I’m delighted to be back at the Waves for 2024.

"I have great memories from my previous time at the club. I am looking forward to getting going and making it a big season for myself and the club.”
