Trio leave Longford Town by mutual consent

Longford Town have announced the departure of Enda Curran, Stephen Walsh and Mark Langtry by mutual consent.

All three of the players have cited work and personal commitments as the main reason for their departure and leave with the club's best wishes.

Curran joined the club during the off-season and scored a total of six goals during his brief 16-game stint at De Town, including a hat-trick against Athlone Town during the midlands El Clasico.

Walsh made 17 appearances for the midlands club this season since joining from Galway in the off-season.

Langtry joined De Town from UCD at the start of the season. Langtry departs the Midlanders after making 12 appearances for the club, playing predominantly in a full back role.

Enda Curran spoke on behalf of the trio to club website ltfc.ie saying “We wish to thank everybody at the club and wish them well for the rest of the season.”

The club added: “Everybody at the club thanks the three players for their work this season and wishes them well for the future.”
