Watch: Bohemians midfielder Fuad Sule discusses Ramadan on RTÉ doc

Bohemians midfielder Fuad Sule took part in a short RTÉ documentary last week that discussed Islam in Ireland and, particularly, how observing Ramadan affects Irish Muslims.

Nigerian-born Sule was one of a number of Muslims living in Ireland who offered their perspectives on life in Ireland during the month of fasting.

He filmed speaking about his experience balancing the life of a semi-professional athlete with adhering to the Islamic custom of abstaining from food and water during daylight hours.

The short features footage from Dalymount Park as well as Richmond Park, where Sule was part of the Bohemians side that beat St Patrick's Athletic 3-1 two weeks ago.

Sule isn't the only member of the Bohemians side to observe Ramadan. Team-mate Kaleem Simon adheres to the custom, as did former Bohs player Ayman Ben Mohamed, who left the club for Tunisia last year.
