Cabinteely appoint Graham O'Hanlon to backroom staff as two more re-sign

Cabinteely have announced the appointment of Graham O'Hanlon as first team coach.

The former Bohemians and Bray Wanderers player joins after six years on the backroom staff at Dalymount Park and will work alongside director of football Pat Devlin and first team manager Eddie Gormley.

O'Hanlon was recently announced on the list of coaches undertaking the UEFA Pro License course with the FAI alongside Shamrock Rovers boss Stephen Bradley, UCD manager Collie O'Neill and Cobh Ramblers supremo Stephen Henderson.

The club have added two more familiar faces to their squad for 2017 with the announcement that Kevin Knight and Shane Rooney have re-signed for the club.

Commanding centre-half Knight played his underage football with Cabo and St Joseph's Boys before signing terms with Leicester City in 2009.

He returned to Ireland in 2011 with Bray Wanderers, and had half-season stints with Shamrock Rovers B and Athlone Town in 2014 before returning to his boyhood club for their first season in senior football.

19-year-old midfielder Rooney was on the books with Shamrock Rovers under-19s as Shane Boyle, spending two seasons in Tallaght before signing for Cabo ahead of the 2016 season.
