Despite the one nil loss at home to Finn Harps last week, the Warriors currently sit second in the Airtricity League Of Ireland First Division Table with 12 points. Manager Shane Keegan has Wexford in a prime position to gain promotion.

Wexford had been on a four-game winning streak until last week, a run that seen the side score ten goals and now striker Danny Furlong has five making him the league's top scorer so far.

Defenders Conor Whittle, James Dermody, Gary Delaney and Lee Grace will be looking to make amends against Cabinteely after the Dublin side were 1-0 winners when the sides met on the opening day of the season. Wexford club captain and ‘keeper Graham Doyle has played over 100 league games for the club and this month was presented with an Award to mark his achievements between the posts.

Kick-off at Ferrycarrig Park Wexford is 8pm

CABINTEELY

An impressive 2-2 away draw with Athlone Town last week leaves the Airtricity League of Ireland’s newest club with seven points after seven games played. Cabinteely FC were moments away from victory when Athlone scored an injury time penalty.

Gerald Pender and Conor Foley got the goals in Athlone as Cabo played 'hit on the counter' style football. Manager Eddie Gormley has had little to celebrate by way of goals as his team have scored just four goals in 630 minutes of league action.

An historic opening day victory over Wexford Youths gives the side hope going into the match.

Kevin Knight is suspended as he was sent off last week, however back from suspension is Robert Maloney. Victor Ekanem is also expected to be fully fit despite being forced to come on as a sub to play last week while injured.

Referee: Eoghan O'Shea
