Coventry City have announced the departure of several players following the 2023/24 season, including the club captain Liam Kelly, who is set to leave after a "legendary" seven-year stint.

Liam Kelly, who joined Coventry in 2017, played a pivotal role in the team's ascent through the football leagues, captaining the team to a League One title and leading them to the brink of Premier League promotion in the recent Championship Play-Off Final.

Goalkeeper Simon Moore, along with Under-21s players Dermi Lusala and Bradley Stretton, will also depart.

Moore, joining from Sheffield United in 2021, contributed to the club in 46 matches over three seasons.

Luis Binks is set to return to Bologna after a loan spell with Coventry, having made 23 appearances in all competitions this season.

Manager Mark Robins expressed his gratitude, stating, "I would like to thank all the players leaving for their dedication and impact at Coventry City. They have all played crucial roles in our recent successes and will be remembered fondly."

In addition to the departures, the club has extended a contract offer to Callum O’Hare and a new contract to young goalkeeper Luke Bell.
