Naughton gets another two years

Eamon Naughton has been successful in his bid to be re-elected as Chairman of the FAI League of Ireland Executive Committee.
The former Galway United Director will now enjoy a further two years in the position.
Naughton's position was said to be under considerable pressure when it emerged in recent weeks that Cork City's Jim Murphy had secured a number of influential backers in his bid to take the reigns.
The Annual Clubs' Convention was held in Abbotstown today.
