SHAMROCK ROVERS

Fifth placed Shamrock Rovers will take on sixth placed Limerick FC in the Airtricity League at Tallaght Stadium on Friday night (kick off 8.p.m).

The home team will come into the game on the back of four successive wins in league and cup. Mark Quigley, who has resumed training, is still unavailable for selection for the Hoops because of a hamstring injury. David Elebert (quad) misses out as well, while Shane Robinson will also not play. Barry Murphy (calf) and Jason McGuinness (groin) are doubtful and both will be assessed before the game. Danny Ledwith returns to the squad

for the match.

Rovers manager Trevor Croly told the Shamrock Rovers website that he is hoping that his side can build on last week's 2-1 win against Cork City. “We put in a good performance and got a good result out of the game in Cork last weekend and we will be looking to build on that on Friday night. Limerick had a tricky game last week and a difficult result and we know they will want to turn that around. They also had a lot of bodies out last week, who will return for this game, so we are expecting them to put up a tough test.”
