Lincoln City has signed attacking wing-back Jaden Brown.

The left-footed defender agreed to a two-year contract at the LNER Stadium, joining City despite interest from several other Sky Bet League One clubs.

Speaking about his move, Brown said, "I'm excited to be here. At this stage in my career, it's all about getting minutes. The players in that role over the past few years have done well and moved onto the Championship."

"I'm here to elevate my game in the same way. I'm very attacking, always looking to get on the front foot, and like to contribute with goals and assists."

A graduate of the Academy at Tottenham Hotspur, Brown has played alongside Imps defender TJ Eyoma and has represented Huddersfield Town and Sheffield Wednesday.

Notably, he helped Sheffield Wednesday secure promotion from League One via the playoffs last season.

City's Head Coach Mark Kennedy expressed his pleasure at signing Brown.

He said, “Jaden has all the attributes that we have been looking for in this position. He is quick, powerful, aggressive and will give us another dimension going forward, as Lasse did towards the end of last season on the opposite side of the pitch.

"Jaden is a great age, he is quick and athletic and will be a good addition - and it is great that we have secured his signature in time for him to join us on our pre-season training camp.”
