90' + 3'

FULL TIME!

And that's that. I'm off now to get the after match interviews and I'll see you all again soon.

90'
3 minutes of injury time to be added on.

89'
Martin could have put Cretaro through, but his ball is cut out by Roddy Jr.

87'

Substitution

Sligo Sub - Jake Dykes makes his Sligo Rovers debut as he replaces Iarfhlaith Davoren.

86'
A cross from Gaynor is headed well over by Liam Martin.

82'

Yellow Card

Monaghan's Niall Crosbie gets a yellow for a tackle on behind on Lee Lynch.

81'

Substitution

Monaghan Sub - Conor McMahon's nightmare is ended as he's replaced by Niall Crosbie.

80'

Substitution

Monaghan Sub - Michael Isichei replaces Tony Griffiths up front.

79'

GOAL!

And Ross Gaynor curls it around the wall and into the bottom left hand corner of the Monaghan net past Schlingermann.

77'

Yellow Card

Monaghan's Paul Whelan takes down Liam Martin at the edge of the box, and there's now a free to Rovers which Gaynor will take.

76'

Substitution

Sligo Sub - Lee Lynch replaces John Dillon.

76'
A cross from Danny McGuinness is dealt with comfortably by Brush.

72'
Nothing much has happened since the second OG. Both sides have been sloppy enough.

67'
I was just about to tell you about a great Monaghan attacking move which saw Griffiths just hit the ball over, but then McMahon turns the ball into his own net, again. A great cross from Marty Owens this time turned in again by McMahon.

67'

OWN GOAL!

Conor McMahon has put the ball in his own net... again!... to give Sligo the lead!

65'
A great cross field ball from Dillon found Gaynor on the left who's first time cross found Cretaro in the box. Raf's shot was blocked on the line by former Rovers' netminder Schlingermann.

63'
A bit o' hairy moment there at the back for Rovers, as mix up at the back is eventually dealt with by Keane.

61'

Yellow Card

Romauld Boco is booked for Sligo Rovers.

61'
A great run from Davoren sees him beat all before him on the left, but as he goes to pull the trigger a tackle from McMahon stops him in his tracks, the ball fell to Cretaro but he couldnt get the shot off in time.

56'
Humphries took it upon himself and barraged through the Rovers defence, and shot. It took a deflection, and Brush got a hand to it but it still went in.

55'

GOAL!

Owen Humphrey scores for Monaghan United.

54'
A cross from Marty Owens is met by no-one, but that's nothing to do with the quality of the cross. I've been tracking Owens since half time and he's playing particularly well

50'
A shot from Shane Dunne is high and wide, but Monaghan are looking bright since the beginning of the half.

48'
Brush clears the ball and Martin rushes onto it, but before he could work himself into the one-on-one position he slips and possession is surrendered.

46'
A one-two from Griffiths and Humphries sees Humphries have a shot at the Sligo goal. It's dismissed by the feet of Richard Brush however.

46'

Second Half

The second half begins!

45' + 2'

Half Time

And the first half ends with Cretaro crossing to McGoldrick who can't head the ball on target. 1-0 to Sligo Rovers at half time.

45' + 1'
A cross from Jason Marks is cleared comfortably by Keane

45'

Substitution

Sligo Sub - Liam Martin replaces his college colleague Mark McGoldrick up front for Sligo Rovers.

45'

Substitution

Monaghan Sub - Owen Humphrey replaces David Crosbie, as Roddy looks to pull one back.

45'
As we edge towards half time and the biscuits, Rovers are controlling play and there'll be two minutes of added time.

43'
And from that John Dillon corner, Cretaro rises high and hits the crossbar with a header. Very unlucky.

42'
This game is really really dour. Both teams struggling to put some passes together, but now Rovers have a corner.

39'
Had some brief trackpad issues there, but all sorted now. Referee is coming under some stick from the home crowd for not playing advantage for a tackle by Keith Quinn.

33'
Monaghan look to have fallen asleep, and John Dillon is given acres of space to shoot from 30 yards. His shot is just over Schlingermann's goal however.

31'
A super Stevie G ball from Danny V as he finds Cretaro with a 60 yard ball. Love it.

30'
Dillons looks ok, and is now back on the pitch.

28'
Young John Dillon is receiving treatment in the middle of the park to a head injury.

25'
Debutant Marty Owens supplied Raffaele Cretaro down the right, and he crossed the ball into McGoldrick who was waiting to turn it in. Conor McMahon intervened ahead of McGoldrick, but turned it past Schlingermann into his own net.

24'

OWN GOAL!

Conor McMahon has put the ball in his own net!

23'
Shot from John Dillon from about 20 yards about to the left of the goal. He dribbled in on his left, jinked it onto his right and shot. He dragged it wide, but Schlingermann saw it very late and would never have got there if it were on target.

22'
This game is borrrring as.. Nothing at all happening here. No chances, not even a nice sunset to look at. Ho hum.

15'
Rovers holding possession very well here, but not finding the through ball to McGoldrick or Cretaro they'll need to unlock the Mons defence.

12'
A cross from the left from Davoren but it's dealt with comfortably by Conor McMahon.

10'
A cross from Boco finds Cretaro outside the box, but Schlingerman had it covered all the way.

8'
Danny McGuinness controls the ball with his shoulder, but for some reason the referee gives a free against him.

6'
Game has settled down already, and the atmosphere is rather flat. Rovers controlling matters, but not forcing their way through the Monaghan defence.

2'
Rovers playing into the Railway End, but Mons with the early possession.

1'

GAME ON!

And we're off!

0'
Teams are now out on the pitch, and we're ready for kick off.

0'
Teams are now up, and we're waiting for the beginning of the game. The tunes are rocking here, with some Crazy Frog mashup kicking the atmosphere off into a frenzy here! It's been asked as to how this game finishes if there's a draw, well there will be extra-time and penalties if necessary. To be noted, Ciarán Kelly is not on the bench for Rovers.

0'
