Sean developed in the St Patrick's Athletic underage system and broke into the first team during 2010. He made his league debut against Shamrock Rovers on 10 September and scored his first senior goal against UCD at the Belfield Bowl four days later. In all, Sean made 7 league appearances in 2010 and added 11 more in 2011.
In january 2012 Sean signed for Aaron Callaghan at Bohemians. Sean's opportunities were limited at Dalymount Park and in the Autumn of 2012 he joined Leinster Senior League side Bluebell United.
