Lyon to battle against Barca in Bilbao Champions League final
After a superb 3-2 first leg win having been two goals down, Lyon earned a 2-1 second leg semi-final win over PSG to book themselves a place in the Champions League final in Bilbao.
The 5-3 aggregate win over Paris Saint-Germain means they will face reigning European champions Barcelona in that final.
Melchie Dumornay supplied the pass for Selma Bacha to put Lyon 1-0 in the second leg at the Parcs des Princes after just three minutes.
Tabitha Chawinga equalised four minutes from the half time break. However, nine minutes from time Dumornay scored to make it 2-1 on the day and 5-3 in the tie to bring them to their 11th Champions League final.
Speaking to UEFA.com Dumornay said: "We're very happy. We told ourselves that we had to start this match strongly and we followed our coach's orders. We wanted to do better than we did at home. We're very happy to have qualified for the final. I'm super-happy as it's going to be my first Champions League final.
