FULL TIME!

The game has ended between Dundalk and Bohemians.

It's all over here as Dundalk return to the top of the table tonight after beating Bohemians. The Lilywhites have in the process also broken a 50-year club record for consecutive league wins, which was last set during the Alan Fox managed era way back in February 1968.

From me, Niall Newberry (Twitter @niallnewberry), it's good night until next week in Cyprus, where I'm doomed to be cooked alive!

90'

Now it's the turn of Dundalk's substitute, Georgie Kelly who's shot is saved by the outstrecthed right foot of Supple - three minutes of stoppage time to be played here.

88'

Bohs almost find a way back in the match after substitute Keith Ward hits the post, cue a bout of pressure from the visitors before Gary Rogers safely gathers the ball.

86'

Georgie Kelly is only on the pitch and almost forces an uncharecteristic error out of Shane Supple who drops the ball under pressure from the Dundalk frontman but gathers at the second attempt.

85'

Substitution

Georgie Kelly replaces Patrick Hoban for Dundalk.

76'

Keith Buckley unleashes a shot which could've got Bohs back in this match. However, it's straight down the throat of Gary Rogers who gathers comfortably.

75'

Substitution

Karolis Chvedukas replaces Robbie Benson for Dundalk.

75'

Substitution

Daniel Grant replaces Dinny Corcoran for Bohemians.

72'

Chris Shields has been an absolute collosus once again for Dundalk this evening. The man should have a statue in the town of Dundalk, so says Tom O'Connor and it's hard to argue with that notion at the moment!

70'

Shane Supple has just been forced into a very decent save following Robbie Benson's audacious effort from distance.

64'

Not much to report here as far as chances go but Dundalk are looking considerably more comfortable following that second goal that was also Hoban's 23rd this year in all competitions.

59'

Substitution

Keith Ward replaces JJ Lunney for Bohemians.

59'

Substitution

Patrick McEleney replaces Dylan Connolly for Dundalk.

56'

Substitution

Daniel Byrne replaces Oscar Brennan for Bohemians.

55'

Hoban uses his strength to beat the challenge of the Bohs defence before finding himself through on goal but Supple was equal to his effort.

55'

The official attendance here at Oriel Park is 3,139 - fantastic turn out considering they played here just three days ago in Europa League qualifying.

51'

PENALTY SCORED!

Patrick Hoban scores for Dundalk from the penalty spot.

Dan Casey fouled Dean Jarvis in the box after he was excellently played in by Michael Duffy and Patrick Hoban stepped up to score his 22nd goal of the season, sending Shane Supple the wrong way.

51'

PENALTY TO DUNDALK...

47'

Teams are back out here at Oriel and Chris Shields - who has unquestionably been Dundalk's best player so far - has the first shot of the second period but it's never troubling Shane Supple, who gathers comfortably.

46'

Second Half

The second half between Dundalk and Bohemians has started.

45' + 1'

Half Time

It is half-time between Dundalk and Bohemians.

44'

Yellow Card

Ian Morris is booked for Bohemians.

42'

Dundalk still looking lacklusture despite taking that lead - Bohs will feel the Lilywhites are there for the taking but probably need the half-time whistle.

37'

Some more slack defending from Dundalk almost gifts Bohs an equaliser as Daniel Kelly's effort is saved at close range by Rogers, who then gathers an Oscar Brennan shot from the resulting corner after Chris Shields had cleared the danger.

31'

GOAL!

Sean Hoare scores for Dundalk.

Minutes after that block, Hoare heads home from a Duffy corner as Dundalk take the lead, cue a huge sigh of relief here at Oriel.

28'

Kevin Devaney's goal bound shot has been excellently blocked by Sean Hoare - the hosts are yet to get going here.

26'

Robbie Benson plays in Patrick Hoban but he plants his effort over the bar after twisting and turning a couple of Bohs defenders - a player that has scored 21 goals this season really ought to have done better there.

21'

Dinny Corcoran was through on goal there after some slack Dundalk defending but the warrior-like Chris Shields got back to retrieve the ball and clear the danger for now - Bohs will be delighted with this start.

17'

Duffy beats the challenge of a couple of Bohs defenders before unleashing an effort just over the bar - that was Dundalk’s first serious effort there.

15'

Darragh Leahy receives a booking for a nasty challenge on Dylan Connolly and Michael Duffy's resulting free-kick into the box is easily gathered by Shane Supple.

14'

Yellow Card

Darragh Leahy is booked for Bohemians.

8'

That said, it's the visitors who have created the first chance after Daniel Kelly shows excellent control before forcing a decent save out of Gary Rogers.

5'

Fairly uneventul beginning to proceedings here but Dundalk looking the far more comfortable in possession so far as you'd expect. Bohs, playing with a five man midfield, look like they're set up to play for what would be a valuable point.

GAME ON!

The game between Dundalk and Bohemians has kicked off.

0'

The Lilywhites have rather surprisingly made just one change from Thursday night's scoreless draw with AEK Larnaca here at Oriel with Dean Jarvis replacing Dane Massey at left-back.

Bohs make two changes from their 6-0 demolition of Bray Wanderers in the league last week with Ian Morris and Oscar Brennan replacing Rob Cornwall and Keith Ward.

Hello and welcome to live updates from this SSE Airtricity League clash between Dundalk and Bohemians.

Cyprus may be on the horizon for the Lilywhites but for now, their attention is firmly on Bohs here at Oriel as they look to return to the top of the table tonight and break a club record for consecutive league wins which has stood since 1968.
