75'
Moore plays a great ball into box from a free on the Utd right which causes dismay in the Pat's box and is cleared from the six yard line. At the other end Daly plays a ball over the top for Kavanagh whose shot was always going past Flemming's goal.

73'
Daly is played through the right channel for Pat's but his cut back is hit high and out of the stadium by Kavanagh. Pat's are pushing while Galway are struggling to gain any momentum going forward.

71'

Substitution

St Pats Sub - Ian Bermingham replaces Brian Shorthall.

69'
McMillan looks to have been shoved by Feeney as he barges into the penalty area but neither the assistant or ref see the foul. Utd get lucky with that call!

67'

Yellow Card

Stephen Walsh of Galway is booked.

66'

Substitution

St Pats Sub - Ian Daly replaces Anto Murphy.

65'
Free to Pat's on the edge of the left hand side of the box. Doyle's free is cleared and a Galway counter attack ends with a free out. That was a great chance for the away side to finish this game for good.

63'

Substitution

Galway Sub - Brian Cash is on for Joseph Yoffe.

61'
On a tactical note Ryan has gone up front to support Curran as Cash comes to the left and Moore stays wide right.

59'
Moore cuts in from the left and unleashes a drive over the bar after good work from Kelly in the middle of the park as Galway prepare for another substition. Brian Cash comes into the fold taking the place of Joseph Yoffe.

56'
Anto Murphy puts a great ball in from the right as Kavanagh's quick volley is sent just over the bar. This doesn't look good for the home side.

54'
Frantic start to the second half here in Galway. The Away supporters are making their voice heard among the 1512 fans in Terryland this evening.

49'

GOAL!

Great feet from Karl Moore down the Galway left gives Joseph Yoffe a chance at a low shot which is well saved by Gary Rogers. At the other end Pat's break quickly and, from a long throw, David McMillan is left unmarked at the back post and left to side foot it into an empty net.

47'

GOAL!

Steve Feeney lets the ball drop just outside the Galway box and it spills across to Anto Murphy who makes no mistake, powering it past the Galway keeper! A great start to the half from Pat's.

47'
Shorthall whips in a great cross from the left as Kavanagh's glancing header just passes Flemming's far post. A great chance there for the visitors to take the lead.

46'

Second Half

Terry the Tiger departs as the players return. Galway get the second half underway shooting from right to left.

45'

Half Time

Both sides have had promising chances, each coming close on a few occasions but Pat's have certainly had the better of it as we await the start of the second half. No official announcement yet on attendance but with a rumoured five hundred home season tickets sold Terryland is certainly more packed than it was at any stage last season. Looks to be around upwards of 1200 here tonight.

45'
Ryan does well down the right to earn the home side a free right on the stroke of half time. Moore plays a curling ball into the box with his left boot but it is cleared away.

43'

Substitution

Galway Sub - Enda Curran comes on for Neil Keane. Straight away Curran gets in on the action and sends his shot just wide of Gary Rogers' left hand post.

41'
A loose back pass from Captain of the night Maher Sends Kavanagh clean through with just the keeper to beat, Flemming blocks the initial shot as Walsh clears off the line to prevent the away side from taking the lead. Pat's have started and are ending this half the stronger side.

38'
Flemming again flounders under the high ball as Doyle whips in a great ball from the left. Galway attack from the resulting throw but fail to make it count.

34'
A free kick to Pat's on the right hannd side of Utd's box leads to nothing and a free out is the end result.

31'
A mazy run from Galway's right back Kelly ends with a free juts in front of goal 25 yards out. The resulting free is well struck by Utd's central midfielder Kelly but saved comfortably by Rogers. Two Sean Kelly's in this side is more than confusing at times!

29'
Flemming fails to deal with another corner. With Pat's physical advantage it could be a long night for the Galway keeper.

27'

Yellow Card

Galway's Neal Keane is booked.

25'
great work from Galway down their right ends with a backheel from Ryan which leads to a corner. It's quickly taken as Kelly 's shot just misses the far post. The home side going through a good spell here but vulnerable on the break.

23'
Flemming fails to deal with a routine corner as it slips through his hands. From the resulting corner a scramble to clear the ball ends with Flemming diving on it

21'
Both sides still feeling each other out. McMillan's chance after 6 minutes remains the best chance so far. Pat's free inside the Utd half is knocked back across goal and cleared by Ryan.

18'
A slip at the back by Shorthall almost lets Neale in after Flemming's kick out but Rogers is on hand to cover up.

16'
First corner of the match to the home side Moore's ball in from the left bounces around in the air until Rogers finally catches and clears.

14'
Wow! Where did all those Pat's fans come from? All of a sudden the away fans find their voice and now take up a large section of the away support.

12'
St Pat's are having success down their right with Anto Murphyas he whips a ball across the box which is cleared high by a Utd boot.

6'
St Pats cut through the Utd defence and McMillan blazes a shot over from close range

3'

It just wouldn't be Terryland if the Black Eyed Peas weren't blaring through the speakers. The teams are out on the pitch and raring to go. A small band of Pat's fans are cheering on their team making more noise than you would think one drum could!

0'
The two new look teams are preparing for kick-off as the stadium slowly fills. I'll be with through the to the final whistle, if you want to leave any comments you can get in touch with me at irishtotti@gmail.com
