Paul’s Biography
Paul played with Sligo Rovers for six years between 2000 and 2006, scoring fifty league goals in his time at the Showgrounds. But at the end of the '06 season Paul told manager Rob McDonald that he didn't wish to stay for 2007 and the following month he signed for Michael O'Connor at Athlone Town.
Paul spent a year and a half at Athlone but returned to Sligo Rovers in the summer transfer window of 2008. His return to Sligo colours came as a substitute in a 1-0 defeat to Shamrock Rovers at Tolka Park on 25 July '08.
