Karl’s Biography
Karl began his League of Ireland career at UCD before signing for Shamrock Rovers in January 2007. He played with the U21's during his first year with the Hoops and was rewarded with a place for the friendly against Kildare County in February 2008.
His league debut came in a 1-1 draw against UCD at Tolka Park on 18 April 2008 and Karl made two league appearances that season. Although he appeared as an unused substitute in 2009, he left the club in July of that year.
Karl also played a part in Crumlin United's 2010 FAI Cup run which ended at the hands of Finn Harps in the third round, and in 2011 he joined LSL side Bluebell United when he remained until the end of the 2012/13 season. Karl had a spell away at Tallaght City before returning to Bluebell in the summer of 2015.
