Andrew’s Biography

Andrew Bhandarkar began his footballing career in Cork, with the junior side College Corinthians of Cork. In 2010 he was snapped up by Pat Scully at Limerick FC where he featured mainly for the A Championship side.

Andrew impressed enough to make his senior debut in the last home game of the 2010 season, a 1-0 defeat at home to Shelbourne. In 2011 he struggled to make the left back position his own, with the signing of John Frost from the defunct Sporting Fingal. However, Andrew did play in the Munster Senior Cup Final against Carrick United when Limerick lost 1-0 to the junior side, and he made 10 league appearances. The following year Andrew made just 5 league appearances and at the end of the season he left Limerick.

In January 2013 Andrew signed for Cobh Ramblers, shortly after it was confirmed that the Cork club would be returning to league football after four seasons in the wilderness. He went on to play 15 times for Cobh in their return to the First Division. Andrew re-signed for the 2014 season but left in July 2014 after just 1 league appearance. Andrew then joined MSL side Casement Celtic before returning to the fold at Ramblers in January 2015, signing for a second spell at St Colman's Park.

Andrew went on to make five league appearances for Cobh in the First Division before leaving the club in July 2015.
