Craig is a defender who was part of Wexford Youths' U19 squad in 2011 and his first involvement with the senior side was as an unused substitute in the final weeks of the 2011 season. Craig didn't feature for the senior side in 2012 but in January 2013 he was promoted to Wexford's senior squad by manager Shane Keegan. His league debut came on the opening weekend of the 2013 season in a 5-0 defeat away to Cobh Ramblers and he made 20 league appearances that year.

Craig re-signed for the Youths for the 2014 season but his contribution to the first team was limited to just 2 first team appearances, starting in the 1-1 home draw with Shelbourne in August and coming on as a sub in the final game of the season against Galway FC.

Craig stayed with Wexford the 2015 season and made twenty-three league appearances for the Youths as they won the First Division title and were promoted to the Premier Division. He made 29 league appearances in the Premier Division campaign of 2016 which ended in relegation and added another 21 league appearances to his career tally in 2017.

Craig left Wexford at the end of 2017.
