Bohemians v Dundalk

Tonight marks the first of a double header of Bohemians vs Dundalk games as the duo meet in the league before an FAI Cup clash next week.
The teams are separated by seven points in the league and a win here would not only help close the gap on Pats but also further Bohemians from the bottom half of the table.
Dundalk will feel they left points in Terryland on Friday night, they went 1-0 down but fought back to take a 2-1 lead before conceding a penalty in the 85th minute. This marked their sixth draw in their last eight games. Bohemians are half way toward their goal of maximum points this month with wins over Bray and Drogheda already.
In the three meetings between the sides so far this season the home team has yet to win, a pattern which Pat Fenlon will look to reverse.
Mark Quigley is on the verge of history, a goal at Dalymount will make him the first Lilywhite to score in six consecutive games in 32 years. Mark Griffin almost did it earlier in the season, he scored in five games but failed in the sixth.
Ian Foster will welcome back Greg Bolger from suspension while Eoghan Osborne (fractured tibia), Stephen McDonnell (knee), Stephen Maher (fractured metatarsal), Paul Murphy (back) and Chris Kerr (torn hamstring) all remain out. Foster also loses Keith Ward to suspension and when you factor in that Colin Hawkins and Ross Gaynor are doubts then you realise Dundalk only have ten fit senior players.
Pat Fenlon doesn’t have as near a worry on the injury front, Ger O’Brien returns from suspension while Barry Murphy and Ollie Cahill are doubts.
