Bray Wanderers -v- Shamrock Rovers

Bray Wanderers will host Shamrock Rovers in Thursday night's Airtricity League Premier Division fixture at the Carlisle Grounds. Kick-off is at 7.45pm.

These two sides clashed at the Tallaght Stadium earlier in the season when Danny O'Connor's goal resulted in a 1-0 victory for Bray. In doing so, they became the first, and so far only, team to beat the champions in the league this year.

The hosts will have to make do without Darren Quigley, Gary Shaw and Stephen Brennan while doubts remain over the fitness of Dave Webster, Danny O'Connor and Graham Kelly.

Speaking in the run-up to the fixture, Wanderers' Pat Devlin said: "The team are making progress. Thursday is a big game for us and we look forward to the visit of Shamrock Rovers and we are hoping to go on and win the game and collect another three points."

Hoops boss Michael O'Neill has a full squad available to him and in the build-up to the game said: "It is the first time this season that we have a full squad available to us, with no injuries or suspensions, so that is a boost for the game. Bray are the only team that have beaten us in the league so far this year, so we will going out there to try and make up for that, and get the win. They have some very good, young players at Bray at the moment, and they are doing well so far this season. But it’s a game the lads will be more than up for, and we’ll be hoping for a win.”
