Advocaat names Russian squad

The 21-man Russian squad that will travel to Dublin to face the Republic of Ireland in next Friday's crunch Euro 2012 qualifier at the Aviva Stadium has been revealed.

Having surprisingly lost to Slovakia last time out, Dick Advocaat's selection includes seven members of Russian league leaders Zenit St. Petersburg's side, alongside more familiar names such as Arsenal's Andrey Arshavin, Chelsea's Yuriy Zhirkov, Totteham's Roman Pavlyuchenko, and Everton's Diniyar Bilyaletidinov.
