With only a week to go until the big kick-off, what better way to put your newly-formed squad to the test than in a friendly with Premier League outfit Hull City. Having brought over a squad with a mixture of fringe players as well as those coming back from injury, Galway United can expect a testing encounter from Phil Brown's men.
Irish internationals Kevin Kilbane, Stephen Hunt, and Paul McShane are all expected to play a part at some stage and Sean Connor will be hoping for a bumper crowd to fill the coffers somewhat a week before the Airtricity League Premier Division gets underway.
