Cabinteely XI set to take on rock band Muse

League of Ireland outfit Cabinteely FC have announced that they will be lining out against the rock band Muse.

 

The match will take place on the 4th of April at the Dublin club’s Stradbrook ground. It will see a Cabinteely XI face the rock group and their crew.

 

Muse bassist Chris Wolstenholme’s son Alfie was a former underage player at the club. He will play for Cabinteely on the night. Current manager Eddie Gormley will also line-out for the south Dublin club.

 

The band are currently on a massive world tour in support of their album Drones. They will play the 3Arena the day after the game on April 5th.

 

Cabinteely are currently third in the League of Ireland First Division while they were recently knocked out of the EA Sports Cup by Shelbourne.

 



The game will kick off at 19:45 and admission is free.
