Birmingham City starlet moves to Dundalk

Dundalk have taken defender Michael McKerr on loan from English Championship side Birmingham City.
The Lurgan-born right-back was signed by former Birmingham boss Steve Bruce from Glenavon in the summer of 2007 on a two-year contract. Birmingham beat off fierce competition for his signature from Scottish Premier League side Rangers.
The player, who turned 19 today, has been capped by Northern Ireland at both under-19 and under-20 level. He also previously went out on loan to English non-league outfit Redditch United.
