Youths swoop for unsettled Limerick duo

Manager-less Limerick FC were dealt another double blow today with the news that to of their brightest prospects have left the club.

It has been confirmed that Garry Sheehan and Peter White have signed for rival First Division outfit Wexford Youths. The news comes after manager Mike Kerley resigned on Friday. Limerick said David Mahedy will take charge of the team until a new manager is signed.

In more positive news, the club has added four faces to its squad for the new season with John Tierney, Eoin O'Brien, Brendan Daly, Chimka Manjor and Paul Walsh.
