Ground: Valley Parade
Bradford City were founded in 1903 and were immediately elected to the second division of the Football League. The club won their only major honour in 1911 when they beat Newcastle United to lift the FA Cup. Known as The Bantams, Bradford play their home games at Valley Parade.
Bradford competed in the top tier of English football from 1908 to 1922 but remained in the lower leagues for the next 77 years. In 1999 they were promoted to the Premier League but they had only two years at that level and have since slipped to League Two.
