Conor’s Biography

Conor played under-age football in his native Wexford and earned international recognition at U14 level before going on to start his senior career at Bray Wanderers in 2005 where he made 3 league appearances towards the end of that season.

He left his job as a green-keeper at Rosslare Golf Club and joined Reading in January 2006 after impressing in trials. He was on non-contract terms with Reading but returned home in July of 2006 to sign on loan for Limerick until the end of the 2006 season.

Conor was released by Reading at the end of 2006 and signed for Mick Wallace at newly formed Wexford Youths in time for the start of their inaugural 2007 league season. He spent three seasons at Ferrycarrig Park and made 91 league appearances, scoring eleven league goals.

In January 2010 he signed for St Patrick's Athletic under manager Pete Mahon but there were few opportunities and he made just 7 league appearances for the Inchicore club and he moved on to a struggling Drogheda United during the summer transfer window.

Again, first team opportunities proved limited and Conor made just 8 league appearances in his time at Hunky Dorys Park, leaving the club at the end of 2010 and signing for Waterford United at the start if 2011. Having missed a huge chunk of the season through injury, Conor left the club at the end of the 2011 season.
