Gavin’s Biography
Gavin was a prolific scorer with his local club, Arklow Town, and scored almost 30 goals in 2005/06 and at the start of the 2006 season he entered league football, signing for Waterford United.
After one season at the RSC Gavin was on the point of signing for Bray Wanderers for the 2007 season. However, the three club rule would have prevented him playing and when the summer transfer window arrived Gavin chose to join Wexford Youths. He remained at Ferrycarrig Park until he returned to Arklow Town in 2010.
In January 2013, Gavin signed for Longford Town and he made 17 league appearances as Longford narrowly missed out on promotion after a play-off defeat to Bray Wanderers.
In 2014/15 he was back with Arklow Town in the Leinster Senior League and he was part of the team that qualified for the 2015 FAI Cup.
