Chris made 25 league appearances for the Lilywhites over the next eighteen months but moved on at the end of 2005, signing for Waterford United in January 2006. He made 12 league appearances for the Blues in the opening half of the season but left to sign for Bray Wanderers in the summer transfer window,

He made 8 league appearances for Bray over the remainder of '06 and added 25 more in 2007. At the end of that year he left Bray to sign for Liam Buckley at Sporting Fingal who had been newly elected to the league for the start of the 2008 season.

He spent just one season with the Ravens and returned for a second spell at Bray Wanderers in 2009. It was a tough year for the Seagulls who finished bottom of the Premier Division and Chris moved on at the end of the season having made 24 league appearances.

He scored on his debut against Finn Harps on the opening weekend of the 2010 season and made 76 league appearances, scoring eight times. Chris retired at the end of July 2014 having made just 2 league appearances that year. He both scored and was sent off in his final league game, a 3-2 defeat to Shelbourne at Tolka Park on 2 May 2014.
