Fahrudin’s Biography

Known simply as 'Faz', Fahrudin is a versatile striker who began his career in the youth teams at Leicester City and Derby County. He did earn a professional contract at Derby but never made the breakthrough into the first team and he left in 2004 to join Notts County. Faz made just 3 league appearances for County before signing for Sligo Rovers on 25 January 2005.

In his first season at the Showgrounds Faz helped Sligo to the First Division title and he played a key role in the clubs return to the Premier Division, finishing the 2007 season as top scorer for the Bit O' Red with ten goals. In July of 2008 Faz moved from west to east, signing for Drogheda United. He made his Drogheda debut in a 2-1 win over UCD on 4 July '08 and made 15 league appearances for the club before leaving at the end of the season to follow his Drogs boss, Paul Doolin, to Cork City.

2009 would be a traumatic year for Cork City as they were dogged by financial troubles, but Faz scored eight goals in 32 league appearances as City finished third in the Premier Division. That winter City folded in spectacular fashion and Faz was on the move again, joining Dundalk in February 2010. He made his debut for the Lilywhites in a 1-0 win at Bray Wanderers on the opening day of the league campaign and scored twelve goals in 35 league outings that season.

In December 2010 Faz signed for German side Eintracht Trier.
