Alan’s Biography
Alan returned to the 'Thouroughbreds' when he signed a contract for the remainder of the season on July 2, 2006.
Alan McDermott Transferred to Dundalk from Kildare County in December 05, having previously had spells at Newry City and Shelbourne.
He had previous experience at Hamilton Academical, Arbroath (trial); Ayr United and Manchester United where he joined as an apprentice in 1998 as a sixteen-year-old.
Alan was a member of the Tolka Rovers side that reached the third round of the 2010 FAI Cup. The Dublin side's run came to an end at Jackman Park when they were beaten 3-1 by Limerick FC. He signed for ST Mochtas ahead of the 2015/16 season.
