Conor’s Biography

Conor is a central defender who is also comfortable at right back and he has represented the Republic of Ireland at underage levels from U15 to U18. Prior to his League of Ireland career he played at Home Farm and Malahide United.

In 2005 Conor played at St Patrick's Athletic but, failing to make a league appearance, he signed for Dundalk in January 2006 only to be immediately loaned out to Kilkenny City for the '06 season.

Conor made his move to Kilkenny permanent prior to the 2007 season and spent a further 18 months at Buckley Park before signing for Mick Cooke at Monaghan United in July of 2008, making his debut for Monaghan as a substitute against Limerick 37 on 18 July '08.

Conor took some time out to concentrate on his studies in 2009 but made 31 league appearances for the club in 2010 and played in the 2010 League Cup final which Monaghan lost 1-0 to Sligo Rovers.

In 2011 Conor made just 9 league appearances for the Mons before breaking his ankle against Finn Harps in May, missing out on the remainder of a season in which Monaghan won promotion to the Premier Division. He resumed with the Mons in 2012 but when the club withdrew from the League in June he quickly signed for former boss, Mick Cooke, at Drogheda United.

Conor made his debut for Drogheda in a 3-0 win away to Derry City on 29 June 2012 but, after just 6 league appearances, he left the club in September 2012. His next sop was at Athlone Town where Roddy Collins announced Conor as a member of his 2013 First Division squad. Conor made 20 league appearances for Athlone Town as they went on to win the First Division title and promotion to the Premier Division. Conor re-signed for Athlone Town for the 2014 season.

Conor left the club in July 2014 after making seven appearances in the league.
