Shane’s Biography
Shane spent some time in England with Sunderland before moving home when he signed for Leinster Senior League side St James's Gate.
Shane, who is a native of Ballyoulster in Celbridge, signed for Eric Hannigan at Kildare County at the start of 2004. He contributed six goals to County's tally during his first season with the club, and his goal against Kilkenny City at station Road in November 2005 was nominated as "goal of the season". At the start of 2006 Shane signed for Monaghan United.
After one season at Monaghan Shane was signed up by Waterford United Manager Gareth Cronin for the 2007 season. One year later he was on the move again, signing for Longford Town for the 2008 season.
