Stuart’s Biography

Stuart started his career in Scotland with St Johnstone in 1998. He played at Cowdenbeath on loan before joining Plymouth Argyle in 2002 and moving back north to Ross County in 2003. After two seasons with Ross County he signed for Drogheda United in February 2005.

Stuart made 25 league appearances for Drogheda in his one season at the club, and following his release at the end of the year he signed for Dublin City in January 2006. He made 14 appearances for the Vikings but in July '06 the club folded and Stuart returned to Scotland where he played for Alloa Athletic and then Montrose.

But he was soon back on Irish shores and Stuart signed for Dermot Keely at Shelbourne in July 2007. He made his debut for Shels against Wexford Youths on 6 July and made 17 appearances over the rest of the '07 season. But in January 2008 he was on the move again, signing for Donegal side Finn Harps.

Stuart made 25 league appearances for Harps over the next eighteen months but left to return to Scotland in the summer of 2009, joining Forfar Athletic. He subsequently played for Arbroath where he made 50 league appearances .
