Admir’s Biography

Admir played for FK Sarajevo in his native Bosnia before coming to Ireland where he played for Leinster Senior League side Birr Town before being signed by Cork City in 2003. He picked up an U21 League winner's medal with Stuart Ashton's side in December 2003. He spent five years with Cork, making several European appearances and being part of the squad that lifted the 2007 FAI Cup.

In 2008 Admir fell down the pecking order under new Cork City boss Alan Matthews and he left the club at the end of July, going on to sign for FK Željezni?ar of Sarajevo. A serious ankle injury ruined his time there and he left at the end of 2008/09. he then went on to sign for Danish side Kolding FC.

On 3 March 2010 Admir returned to Leeside, signing for Tommy Dunne as Cork City rose from financial meltdown under the flag of Cork City Foras Co-op, but he failed to receive international clearance and the move fell apart a week later.
