Jason’s Biography

Jason began his League of Ireland career at Limerick 37 and made his debut in a 0-0 draw against Athlone Town at Jackman Park on 20 June 2008. He went on to make 17 league appearances in '08 and played regularly for the renamed club (Limerick FC) through 2009, appearing 22 times in the league. He made a further 11 league appearances in the opening half of the 2010 season.

Jason left Limerick in the summer transfer window of 2010, signing for Brendan Place at Athlone Town where he made his debut against Longford Town on 17 July. He made 12 league appearances and scored once for Athlone that year, but in January 2011 he returned to Limerick, signing for local Limerick side Janesboro.

In June 2011 Jason returned to Athlone Town for a second spell, signing for new manager Mike Kerley. He made 15 league appearances and scored three league goals over the latter half of the season. The following year Jason made 19 league appearances but left the club in mid August 2012 to return to Junior football with Ballynanty Rovers.

In the summer of 2013 Jason returned to Limerick colours, signing for Stuart Taylor in late July. He first appeared as a late substitute in a 2-1 win over Cork City at Thomond Park on 2 August 2013 and went on to make 8 league appearances, scoring once in a 2-0 win over Shamrock Rovers. Jason stayed with Limerick for the 2014 season, and made a further twenty-five appearances for the club and scored two more goals as they finished sixth in the league.

He did not initially re-sign for 2015 and was not part of Martin Russell's squad in the early weeks of the season but on St Patrick's Day it was announced that he had re-joined the Blues lineup. Despite coming into the squad late, Jason went on to make sixteen league appearances for Limerick as they struggled in the Premier Division. In July 2015, Jason moved to Sligo Rovers under former teammate Joey N'Do.

He went on to make nine league appearances, scoring once in a 4-0 win over Drogheda United, as Sligo finished ninth in the Premier Division. He left the club in January 2015 to join Dorking Wanderers in the Isthmian League Division One South.

In January 2019, Jason signed back with Limerick after a spell with Ballynanty Rovers.
