Emmett’s Biography
Emmet came through the youth ranks at Galway United and played with the first team squad in 2010, making his league debut in a 1-1 draw with Dundalk on 25 July. That was Emmett's only league appearance of the season and in 2011 he signed for First Division side Salthill Devon.
Emmett made his debut for Salthill on 17 June 2011 in a 4-0 defeat to Waterford United at the RSC and went on to make 11 league appearances that season. He also scored his first league goal that year, in a 2-1 win over Wexford Youths.
Sadly Emmett's 2011 season was cut short by a serious training ground injury in September and he was not part of Salthill's (SD Galway) league squad for 2012. He played at Junior level for East United and was also part of a Galway Select XI that played Port Vale in July 2012.
