Eoghan’s Biography

Eoghan is a full back who made his league debut for Drogheda United against St Patrick's Athletic at Richmond Park on 17th April 2009.

Eoghan made 6 league appearance in 2009 but became more established at United Park in 2010 when he made a total of 23 league and cup appearances. He also scored his first goal at senior level, knocking in the 92nd minute winner in a 1-0 win over St Patrick's Athletic at Richmond Park.

In January 2011 Eoghan signed on amateur terms for Ian Foster at near neighbours Dundalk and made his debut in a Leinster Senior Cup tie against Shamrock Rovers on 22 February. His league debut also came against Shamrock Rovers, just two weeks later on the opening night of the season. But an injury sustained in that game kept Eoghan out for the rest of the 2011 season. He went on to make 15 league appearances in 2012 but had played in just 5 league games in 2013 when he left the club in the summer transfer window.

Eoghan's last game for Dundalk was away to Derry City on 5 July but five days later he signed for the Brandywell club and made his debut away to Shamrock Rovers on 12 July. Hampered by injury, he made just 5 league appearances for Derry over the latter half of 2013.
