Tam’s Biography

Tam McManus had been a mainstay in Scottish football, listing Hibernian, Dundee FC, Falkirk and Dunfermilne as his former clubs before signign for MLS club Colorado Rapids. He scored five goals in twenty-two appearances for the MLS side during his one season stay there. He first arrived in Ireland when he signed for Derry City on 26 March 2009.

In what would be another one season stay, Tam scored three goals in twenty three games for the Candystripes as Derry went on to finish fourth in the league. He also scored the goal that secured a draw against Skonto Riga in the UEFA Cup that year.

Tam left Ireland and returned to Scotland, playing for Ayr United and Falkirk, before returning to America, to play for Rochester, before going full circle and coming back to Ireland to sign for Limerick FC in March 2014, under Steven Taylor. He went on to score three times in seventeen games, as Limerick finished sixth in the league. Tam left the club in October 2014.
